Gallery of Fly Carvings
A Steelhead pattern developed in the 1950’s by Emil Faulk, a lifelong fly fisher from Grays Harbor, WA. Emil fly fished all of the steelhead waters on the western slope of Washington’s Olympic Peninsula, but his favorite was the Bogachiel River, affectionately nicknamed the “Bogie” by area residents and fishers. The chisels and carpenter’s rule give a relative size of the fly carving.
